Suction head quick-changing system with precise adjustment system

Switching from one brick model to another requires, in addition to replacing all working molds, changing the suction heads.

Practical and well-thought-out changing systems reduce the effort and, above all, the downtimes when changing the suction head.

Connection plates with a mechanical quick-release fastener or pneumatic clamping pots have proven their worth.

Connections for vacuum, compressed air, pneumatic cylinders, electroshock or oiling are permanently installed on the connection plate.

The various media are transferred to the suction heads via standardized connections and adapters.

Time-consuming disassembly and assembly of all connections is no longer necessary when changing the suction head.

The position of the knife box is defined and precisely adjusted using a displacement system.

The suction heads are positioned when they are installed on the press and are accessible from operator side. Employees no longer have to "climb around" on the press.

Changing frames for the suction heads or individually designed lift trucks round off practical solutions for the suction head changing process.

Suction plates are designed in either aluminium or plastic.

The suction plates can have a Teflon film or foam glued on to them, or be coated with plastic or rubber.

The suction plates can be prepared for electric shocks and can be provided with integrated hole engravers and with oiling devices.

Training and apprenticeship was always of big importance for us and will be even more important in the future. In our new additional wing we have forseen a separate training area to intensify the courses on basic metal treatement.

At the moment we have 4 young people in apprenticeship as precision machinist, technical designer and office clerk.

At the start of the 2018 training year we are offering apprenticeship places to train as precision machinists.

Precision machinists produce products by punching, cutting and forming; they likewise produce accessory and mould making equipment as well as machinery, devices, system and plants, for which they are then also responsible for keeping serviced and maintained.

They work in numerous areas in precision machining, mechanical engineering and tool making as well as in the electrical industry.
Duration of apprenticeship: 3 ½ years
Vocational training school: Freising
Working hours: 40h (metal handcraft)

Moreover Franz Banke GmbH also offers young people the chance to carry out work experience and placements with them.
